Dear Mosaics,

It has been a few weeks since we, the staff and leadership of Mosaic, have given you an update on our current situation concerning our COVID-19 posture and response. With the coronavirus, it seems to be an ever-changing situation which brings its own unique challenges.

As you know, we have been holding limited-attendance, in-person Sunday services since May 17th. They have gone extremely well and have been such a blessing; it has been so good to gather and to worship together once again. Prayerfully, conditions concerning the virus will continue to improve. As they improve, we will carefully evaluate and consider expanding ministry and worship opportunities on the campus. In the meantime and for the foreseeable future, we will continue to hold services in person, as well as online.

We still strongly encourage those of you who have respiratory illnesses; who have any symptoms, whatsoever, or who are in high risk categories to continue engaging with us via Facebook Live or our website livestream. If you are quarantined, please let us know what we can do for you. We are doing our best to check up on everyone, so if you would like a virtual pastoral visit or know someone that needs one, please contact us!

For those who attend in person or desire to attend in person, please be assured that we have implemented many measures to ensure that our in-person services are as safe as possible. We continue to provide limited, socially-distanced seating; touchless hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the facility; and we deep-sanitize the building several times a week, including before and after Sunday services. We also require those that do attend in person, to register and reserve your seat and to wear a face covering once within the building.

We have been so blessed by your attendance, whether in person and online, and are hopeful and excited about what God is doing during this time. Things are still uncertain, but we serve a certain God. That said, we will continue to build our online communities as well as prepare for a gradual return of our various ministries, small groups and activities on campus (more to follow!).

Rest assured that everything we do will be conducted with your safety in mind with the goal to minimize risks to the health and well-being of the Mosaic family, the 72204 community and the city of Little Rock ... all of which we so dearly love. In the meantime, know that we are highly engaged with our community more than ever before, both demonstrating and proclaiming the love of our Lord in very tangible and practical ways.
